Join us for our March meetup as we hear from State Rep. Kristian Grant (Grand Rapids) on a recently introduced bipartisan package of bills aimed at increasing housing supply and lowering costs by modernizing zoning rules and reducing local regulatory delays.
This conversation matters for housing providers, real estate investors, builders, and anyone paying attention to what it takes to bring new housing to market—especially in metro areas where local rules can directly impact feasibility, timelines, and price.
Rep. Grant will share what’s in the package, what it’s designed to solve, and what the proposed changes could mean for development patterns and housing options across Michigan. Open networking and discussion will follow.
This meetup is a chance to hear directly from a policymaker involved in active housing reform efforts, ask questions, and share on-the-ground realities from the investor and housing provider perspective.
Key Reforms Being Proposed
