Hike 100 Challenge: Supply Road to Broomhead Rd

Join the Grand Traverse Chapter of the North Country Trail Association on a 3-mile hike on the NCT from Broomhead Rd Trailhead to the Supply Rd Trailhead.
We’ll meet at 1 PM at the Broomhead Rd. Trailhead at 33 Broomhead Rd., Williamsburg, Mi. From the corner of US-31 and M72 in Acme, drive 5.7 miles east on M72 to Broomhead Road. Turn south (right) on Broomhead Road and drive 6 miles to the parking lot on your right. If you come to the bridge you’ve gone too far. Google Maps can find the trailhead at 33 Broomhead Rd Williamsburg MI, or 44°41'24.9"N 85°22'01.1"W, or MJRM+36R South Boardman, Michigan.
We'll then shuttle to the Supply Road trailhead (MHRQ+V8G South Boardman, Michigan on Google maps) and hike back to Broomhead Rd along the Boardman River. This hike counts toward the national and chapter 100-mile challenges.
Plan on hiking for 2 hours at a 2 mph pace, with a short snack break. Hiking shoes, hiking poles, and rain gear are recommended. Consider long pants and bug spray to reduce potential tick problems.
