Updated time: Hike 100 Challenge: Starvation Lake Rd to Pickerel Lake SFCG

As part of the chapter's National Trail Days celebration, we'll meet at 9:30 at Pickerel Lake State Forest Campground (Q2WG+MP6 Manistee Lake, Michigan or 44°47'48.0"N 84°58'23.6"W). ***Be warned that there is another Pickerel Lake Campground somewhere else, so use the directions provided in this posting!*** If you'd like to car pool, meet at 8:15 at Traverse City Central High School at the northwest corner of the parking lot (by the pine trees).
We'll shuttle cars north to Starvation Lake Road, the northern end of our chapter's NCT segment. We'll hike 6.5 miles past several lakes and ponds and through a hilly forested section back to the campground. We'll arrive in time to join the celebration's pot luck.
