What we’re about
The new emerging non-profit makerspace effort in Grand Rapids, MI.
It all started a few years ago when the now President of the non-profit, Pat Hurn, reached out to reddit looking for a makerspace. GR Makers had closed. Geek Group had closed. There was a void in the city.
Finding like-minded individuals and the non-profit was born!
For the past few years we have focused on community outreach events, workshops for the public and building up support for moving into our own location.
