Sunday Crafternoon
Come join us for a fun and creative afternoon at the Grand River Makerspace! Bring any project you'd like to work on, or dive into one of ours.
It's a FREE community hangout where people have worked on puzzles, read books/magazines, played a board game (we've got some), worked on 3D CAD, colored, assembled model kits, and more. We've got puzzles on hand, plus 3D-printed and laser-cut pieces to color.

Sewing Projects — We have sewing projects ready to go if you bring your machine! We now have working machines at the makerspace as well.

Wooden Block Robot Build — This month, we're breaking out the hand tools! Cut and shape wooden blocks into a character of your own design — a robot, a little guy, an animal, whatever you can dream up. Then hit our 3D printers, 3D pens, laser engravers, and UV printer to decorate and accessorize your creation. We ran this at Maker Camp and the kids loved it — we saw robots, hand-painted faces, a dinosaur, and even a snake made out of blocks. $15 donation to the makerspace (can Venmo onsite)

GRM Merch Event — Bring a shirt, hoodie, or tote bag and we'll press the Grand River Makerspace logo onto it while you're here. $15/item (can Venmo onsite)
