What we’re about
Bringing together local amateur photographers to share, learn, and improve their photography skills. We'll be learning from professional photographers joining us periodically, as well as from each other. The goal for individual members is to develop a personal style and to raise the quality of their photographs to the level of art.

Special guest photographer and educator, Niki Chan Wylie ( https://www.nikichanphoto.com/ ) will talk about one of her recent photographic projects: https://www.nikichanphoto.com/sagebrush-to-bitter-creek
The project visually discusses Chinese American history in the West. She will also speak about working as a photojournalist – Niki has worked for: The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, AARP, BBC News, PBS, NPR News, The Guardian, USA Today, High Country News, The Nature Conservancy Magazine, People Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, and The Salt Lake Tribune.
As far as the critique portion of the evening, Niki is open to viewing any of your works and providing feedback. I’ll write to all who sign up in mid-May for your photo submissions. Submit any photos you’d like Niki – and the group – to discuss. This is an excellent opportunity to gain professional feedback on your work.
