N89ers - Quechee - North Pomfret - Woodstock, VT

Join the N89ers for a 26 mile loop consisting of two significant climbs (one of approximately 1,000 feet over six miles). Each climb is followed by extensive and fun descents (one of approximately five miles). Beautiful views of the Vermont countryside on mostly smooth pavement with one gravel road stretch of five miles along the Ottauquechee River.

Overall average speed will be about 10 mph, however considerably slower on the long uphills and considerably faster (at your own comfortable and safe speed) on the long downhills.

This is a no drop ride where we will gather up at several strategic mile posts so no one gets too far behind. The major rest and snack break will take place at mile 12.6 in front of the Pomfret Town Hall and just before a fun 5 mile descent.
