Join us for a moderately paced 28-mile ride from Peirce Island, Portsmouth, through Rye, returning along the NH seacoast and around New Castle. There will be a mid-way rest/snack stop or two; bring your snacks. BG's Boathouse Restaurant on Wentworth Rd (2.8 miles from Peirce Island) makes a great spot for an after-ride lunch.
We'll evaluate this suitability of weather for this ride and hopefully make a go/no-go decision the evening before.
Parking is at Four Tree Island parking lot and street side along Peirce Island Road.

Monday Ride Group Guidelines
- Expect a 11-12ish mph average ride pace and 12-14+ mph level ground rolling speed ... plus or minus with hills and wind. Speeds will typically pick up a bit as the season progresses.
- While the ride is considered "no drop," riders are expected to make a reasonable effort to maintain the published pace to avoid significantly disrupting the group flow.
Program Note
- Monday rides will generally start from Contoocook every other week.
- Alternate weeks may start from various Seacoast area locations, Belmont, Antrim, and others.
- Start times will generally shift to 9 AM as the season progresses.
- Monday rides will be on hiatus four Mondays during June and two during September.
- Others are welcomed to lead a Monday ride of their choosing for which listing and mapping support will be gladly provided.
