UV Slow Spokes: Elkins - Kezar Lake (with Loop)

Details

Details:
A 23 mile ride from Elkins through Wilmot to Kezar Lake and back. We will do a loop near the beginning to avoid the nasty left turn onto Village Rd.

The route to Kezar Lake will be on Kearsarge Valley Road which is rough in spots, but it is gently uphill, and therefore easier to dodge the potholes. The route back to Elkins will be on nicely paved Shaker Road and includes a nice rolling downhill on Mountain Road. Porta-potty break at Wilmot Town office. Main rest stop and porta-potty break will be at the beach at Kezar Lake. Bring snacks and water to have at the rest breaks.

This is a no-drop ride at about a 10 mph average ride pace. We gather up regularly so no one gets left behind.
Rain cancels.

You can bring a lunch to eat at the gazebo across the street from Solomon Lodge after the ride. If you have time, plan on joining us.
