23 miles of moderate biking, several modest hills, one short grunt. Lots of views of the lake. Pretty village of Hebron with store/cafe, Congregational church, and old houses. Interesting geology at Sculpture Rocks.

Ride departs at 10:00 AM.

Cue Sheet:
0.0 West Shore Road with lake on your right.
1.8 RIGHT, still on West Shore Road, marked for Wellington State Park.
7.4 HEBRON. General store has cafe and toilet. Note church, nice houses, and green.
LEFT on Groton Road. Easy riding. Nice countryside.
9.0 LEFT at fork to Sculptured Rocks Geological Site (NH State Park). A gentle climb.
10.1 Sculptured Rocks. Glaciers sculptured potholes in the walls of the Cockermouth River gorge.
REVERSE to Hebron
13.0 STRAIGHT at Hebron on North Shore Road (direction: Plymouth) with green on your right.
15.5 RIGHT on NH 3A south. No shoulder most of the way. Fast traffic but good sight lines.
19.0 RIGHT on Whitmore Point Road North.
19.7 BEAR LEFT at the fork, still on Whitmore Point Road.
(Straight ahead loops by cottages in the woods; no good views.)
21.3 RIGHT on NH 3A.
21.6 RIGHT on Lakeside Road, a little piece of old highway avoiding most of a hill.
22.4 RIGHT on NH 3A.
22.7 RIGHT on West Shore Drive, into parking lot.
(Note: The tempting road along the beach at 22.5 becomes one-way against you.)
