N89ers - Contoocook - Penacook loop via Broad Cove Road

Moderate 24 mile loop from Contoocook to Penacook and back.

Typical NH terrain with short grunts on Briar Hill and Horse Hill Road. Gravel will be encountered on a short stretch of Broad Cove Road.

Parking is behind TD Bank off Main Street, Contoocook, by the Contoocook Gazebo, Contoocook Riverside Park.

Ride departs at 10:00 AM.

Bring a snack, water and of course your helmet, lights, and Road ID.
Rain cancels.

The Every Day Cafe makes a great place for an after ride snack or lunch.

This is a no drop ride at a 10-12 mph average ride pace and 12-14 mph level ground rolling speed. While the ride is considered "no drop," riders are expected to make a reasonable effort to maintain the published pace to avoid significantly disrupting the group flow.
