Unlocking Corporate Opportunities: Grants and Other Funding Sources for Nonprofit Organizations

Corporate philanthropy is evolving—are you ready to seize the moment? This session will equip nonprofit professionals with practical strategies to tap into a wide range of corporate funding sources, from traditional sponsorships to lesser-known opportunities like community champion programs and trade show proceeds. Learn how to position your nonprofit as the “Charity of Choice” for businesses by leveraging personal and professional networks, exploring give-back initiatives and maximizing donation matching programs. Whether you’re new to corporate giving or looking to deepen your impact, this session offers actionable insights to expand your funding portfolio and drive your mission forward.

Chris Crytzer, CFRE, is a seasoned fundraising strategist who has helped nonprofits raise millions through custom fundraising plans, implementation support, and staff training.

The Grants Cafe meets on the last Wednesday of each month, except August and December, from noon to 1:00 p.m. A group of volunteer co-facilitators takes turns hosting each session, which always focuses on some aspect of what it means to be a grant professional. Topics are posted by mid-month to give you plenty of time to sign up. We have been meeting virtually since the pandemic, and occasionally in person, so watch notices carefully.
