Speakers:
🎤 Christophe Willemsen, Chief Technology Officer @ GraphAware
Talk Title: Why Entity-Resolved Graphs Matter
Talk Summary: Knowledge graphs are all the rage. However, organizations building knowledge graphs have been plagued by duplicate nodes that dilute the power of their graph. Even the best technical teams have had difficulty getting these duplicate nodes resolved. The solution to this problem is entity resolved knowledge graphs (ERKG). Knowledge graphs harness the power of entity resolution to increase the accuracy, clarity, and utility of knowledge graphs. This talk presents a light introduction to entity resolved knowledge graphs and a full hands-on tutorial.

He works on multiple fronts, including supporting high-profile customers in their use of Hume and delivering niche consulting services related to graph technologies. As an ex-military professional, he understands the importance of mission-critical systems and brings a natural leadership style to his work. Christophe is passionate about helping customers achieve their goal of making the world a safer place to live. [Joint talk by Charlie and Darren] Talk Title: Taking Vector Search to Another Dimension with Graph
Talk Summary: The use of language models, embeddings and vector databases for powering search and customer personalisation is fast becoming the standard. These approaches however are still limited to a generalised semantic context rather than being grounded in knowledge and facts derived from a deep understanding of the domain or the user. This talk shows how a knowledge graph paired with large language models can be leveraged to deliver personalized search and recommendations that are far more focused and targeted than the status quo!
