Neo4j 3.0 Launch Party

Neo4j 3.0 Launch Party

Details

Neo4j 3.0 GA was announced at GraphConnect on April 26th. Read the official announcement and details here:

http://neo4j.com/blog/neo4j-3-0-massive-scale-developer-productivity/

This is an exciting release and reason to celebrate the future of graphs - they are here to stay.

Big Headlines...
Massive Scale and Performance: "Dynamic pointer compression expands Neo4j’s available address space as needed, making it possible to store graphs of any size. That’s right: no more 34 billion node limits!"
Java Stored Procedures: "Java Stored Procedures can be called independently, or they can also be parameterized, can return results, and can even be mixed with Cypher to blend the best of declarative and imperative coding."
Bolt Protocol: "Bolt uses a new serialization format called PackStream, a compact binary encoding over TCP or web sockets for higher throughput and lower latency. No more HTTP for language drivers"

We will be celebrating the Neo4j 3.0 launch at The Honest Company:
The Honest Company (a four-year-old startup) recently moved to Playa Vista, and we're delighted to be joining the tech scene in Silicon Beach. This is the first of many events we intend to host for the local tech community, providing a space to make connections, collaborate and talk shop. We're an open-source company with a large tech team enjoying cutting-edge technologies like Neo4j. We're also growing rapidly and looking to make some key hires across the organization. For info about jobs at Honest, please contact Lyndsey Lustig (Technical Recruiter) at llustig@honest.com.

Join us for an evening of fun, food, drinks and connection.
Look forward to seeing you all there.
