3 graph talks in one evening!
Details
Hi everyone,
Time for a new meetup in Q4 of 2022. For this meetup we are happy to announce not 2, but 3 talks!
Why should Python be afraid of Six?
By: Tom Nijhof (CytoSMART)
The Python package space is dependent a lot on itself.
If we put this in a graph database, it shows us a tree with Python packages, depending on Python packages.
It also shows us that some packages are more important for the ecosystem than others.
When we dive further into the data, we also find how licenses are inherited into a project.
Connecting a BI dashboard to Graph data
By LarkInfo Lab
Abstract:
In order to tap into the possibilities of Graph data and analytics it is important to connect existing BI tools to the Graph database back-end. This will enable business users to use one common platform for all their data and analytics views and dashboards. LARKinfolab has build a custom extension to connect Neo4j to QlikSense BI. The extension provides both the visual live representation of the network, as well as an interface for using Cypher query to further analyse the data.
A graph database and a dad joke walk into a bar..
By Rik van Bruggen (Neo4j)
In this talk, Rik will try to get rid of his "beergraph" reputation by presenting how he built another fun and engaging example of a graph use case, based on the wonderful world of "dad jokes". Expect a whirlwind storyline covering data import, natural language processing, entity extraction, similarity analysis, graph data science, and data disambiguation.
Here's the schedule:
18:00: Arrive and have a beverage :)
18:30: Why should Python be afraid of Six?
19:00: Walking dinner
19:30: Qlik visualisation
20:00: A graph database and a dadjoke walk into a bar..
20:30: One more beverage to wrap up
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the event!
All the best
Your GraphDB-Amsterdam team
