Want to bring Graphistas together to listen to and discuss Graph Database case studies. For this first Case Study session, we have lined up three great case studies from different industries and interest areas which should give us some good food for thought:

Willem-Paul Stuurman, Knollenstein: the Knollenstein team already operates one of the most advanced job advertising engines out there, and this engine is going to get even more advanced with the new, graph-database-based tooling that is going to be launched soon. Expect some war stories explaining the good and less good experiences that they had.

Alfredas Chmieliauskas, TU Delft: TU Delft has been using graph databases in different projects. One of the more interesting ones was the use of graphs for energy market modelling, which allows policy makers to see the effects of their policy changes on supply, demand, pricing, etc. Alfredas will explain his research and his experiences along the way.

Xebia team / Kris Geusebroek + Friso van Vollenhoven: Xebia has used graph databases in multiple projects, proof of concenpts and studies. They will explain how they used graphs in network monitoring applications, in combination with advanced visiualisation techniques.
