Speakers:
🎤 Shameek Ghosh, Ph.d, Principal Architect @ Revenue NSW
Talk: Enhancing Knowledge Graph Quality using Graph Embeddings
Summary:
In various domains, knowledge graphs face challenges like incompleteness, human error, and limited quality control. Continuous updates lead to costly data errors from biases and assumptions, necessitating thorough evaluation and predictive techniques for error correction and enrichment. In this talk - we discuss embedding methods to improve a graph's quality with a view to streamline manual review by experts, enhancing the graph's overall quality and utility from a strategic operations perspective.

🎤 Stephen Young, Founder & CEO @ FactNexus
Talk: Graphs to support and governs LLMs
Summary:
Steve will introduce some Graph structures beyond the more common property graphs used, for example, by neo4J. Using his company’s beth.ai product he'll show how some of these structures allow language operations that can be very useful when providing context to Large Language Models as part of a RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pattern. He'll also show how graphed language structures can be used for applying governance to the use of LLMs and how that strategy is being built into their CAT3 governance virtual appliance.
Bio: Steve is founder and CEO of FactNexus. and architect of GraphBase - a graph DMBS that FactNexus uses to help organisations capture and formalise knowledge, and to build graph-based software products and services. Steve has nearly two decades of experience working on graph-based solutions for the Health, E-commerce, Defense, Intelligence and Telco sectors.

Our lineup of speakers will guide you through fascinating use cases, cutting-edge techniques, and real-world applications of graph databases. From recommendation engines to fraud detection, we'll explore how graphs are transforming industries and revolutionizing data management.

But that's not all! This meetup isn't just about presentations—it's about collaboration and community. Share your experiences, ask questions, and exchange ideas with fellow graph enthusiasts during our interactive discussions and networking sessions.

So whether you're a developer, data scientist, business analyst, or just curious about the potential of graph technology, join us at GraphSyd March Meetup: Unraveling Connections for an evening of insight, inspiration, and connections.

See you there!
