• Persisted Queries at Scale (by Haggai Kaunda)

Haggai is a Zambian born Senior Software Engineer living and working in San Francisco. He will be joining Roblox Corporation as a Sr Full Stack Engineer in the Account Integrity Group. Previously, he was a founding engineer on Twitter’s highly scalable GraphQL Platform Team. Haggai is also CTO and CoFounder of Tafika Tickets, an online intercity bus terminal operating out of Zambia.

During this talk, Haggai will be discussing how Persisted Queries can help overcome challenges when operating a GraphQL Platform. Persisted Queries are pre-defined GraphQL queries that are stored on the client-side, and they can help improve performance and reduce network load when scaling the platform. Additionally, Persisted Queries provide visibility and insights that can inform better business decisions.
