4th Annual Tube Float Trip on the Shenandoah River

Join us for Tubing on the Beautiful Shenandoah River!

• When: Sunday, August 10th at noon. Plan to arrive by 11:30 am for check in.

1. Select August 10 at 12:00 pm and mention GRASP Meetup in the comment area.
2. Please familiarize yourself with their policies and procedures and read the FAQs.
3. Though the river is shallow, we kindly ask that you are comfortable in water.

The trip down the river is approximately 3 hours rain or shine.

The river lever is low this time of year, so expect to scramble over rocks a few times along the way. If the conditions are too low for enjoyable tubing, the outfitter will let us know a couple of days before our trip.

Absolutely NO GLASS CONTAINERS or FLIP FLOPS on the water.

We will have an early dinner after our trip at Vibrissa Beer for those who would like to keep the good times going.

CARPOOL:

Carpool is encouraged. More information will be added as the date approaches. The following locations worked well last year. Please indicate in the chat if you would like to join a carpool as a driver or a rider, the pickup location, how many folks you can accommodate, and whether you want to stay for dinner after the trip.

Gaithersburg - Meet at 09:30 am, depart at 09:45 am sharp. Giant at 46 Bureau Dr, Gaithersburg, MD. Meet at end of parking lot near Supreme Sushi Buffet.
