Ruh Roundtable. Spending with Purpose: Reflecting on Wealth, Waste, and Worship

Ruh Roundtables are facilitated discussions led by a community member on topics of importance in our lives to reflect on how Islam helps us navigate these issues.

The reflection for this session invites us to pause and explore Qur’anic verses on wealth, waste, responsibility, and generosity. It’s a chance to consider how we can balance enjoyment with care, check in with our spending habits, and think about practical steps to spend more meaningfully and morally. Topics include challenges such as fast fashion, environmental impact, and business practices.
