Special Meetup: GrazJS meets ReactVienna

Details
Our friends from React Vienna are hosting a special Meetup at Pichler-Schober vineyard in beautiful south styria. Surrounded by that "very styrian" ambiance including good wine and food, great hands-on developers with significant dev knowledge and talent to grow (open source) software will come to us and spread the word. Let's not miss out one such an opportunity.
Speakers & Talks:
Juho Vepsäläinen (https://twitter.com/bebraw) from Finland is behind the SurviveJS effort. In addition to being a core developer of Webpack, he has been active in the open source scene since the early 2000s. Blue Arrow Awards winner.
>> TALK: Showcase React Finland <<
In this talk you will learn how Juho built the React Finland website using technologies such as React, Webpack, and GraphQL. As it happens, it’s a good combination for building light sites fast when you get the architecture right.
----
Nik Graf (https://twitter.com/nikgraf) cares about good UX and development tools. He co-created several popular open source projects like DraftJS Plugins and Polished. Nik participated in Stripe’s Open Source Retreat and joined Serverless Inc. to deploy auto-scaling infrastructures. In his spare-time he enjoys writing code in Reason and play with WebVR as well as organising the ReactJS Vienna meetup.
>> TALK: A Hitchhiker’s Guide to ReasonReact <<
In this talk Nik will take you on a journey into your future. We will start with a quick tour into ES2030 disguised as ReasonML. After this brief language intro you'll walk through all the important things to know about ReasonReact and finish with a demo on how to do state management using the ReasonReact’s ReducerComponent.
----
Andrey Okonetchnikov (https://twitter.com/okonetchnikov) is a front-end engineer and UI designer from Russia who lives in Austria and works on modern user interfaces using web technologies. As an active Open Source contributor, he contributed to Webpack, React.js, and Jest; designed the PostCSS official website and created a bunch of logos for other OSS projects.
>> TALK: A common design language: let designers & developers talk to each other <<
"Should designers code?" or "Should coders design?" These 2 eternal questions are being asked for years with no particular answer given. You'll hear about UI consinstecy, dev<>designer commuication solutions and pattern libraries.
----
Patrick Stapfer (https://twitter.com/ryyppy) is a JavaScript Software Engineer and freelancer, mostly known for his contributions to the Flow type checker ecosystem and his recent work at Runtastic, where he spent most of his time working on the Mobile News Feed feature (built in React Native). Most of his Open Source time is dedicated to the ReasonML and OCaml platform to build robust, type-safe JS applications.
>> TALK: Making Unreasonable States Impossible <<
This talk goes deeper into the world of variant types and pattern matching and puts them into a practical context. You will learn how these tools help you design solid APIs, which are impossible to misuse by consumers. Additionally you will get more insights into practical ReasonReact code.
