Great Adventures from Shinjuku vol.7

Hello everyone. Next adventure is to Chichibu-shi, Saitama prefecture. This is a great place for hiking. In this season, we can enjoy natural ice arts there. This time, our destinations are "Misotsuchi-no-tsurara icicles", The icicle of "Fudo waterfall", and a hotspring. We will walk on a sidewalk (National road 140) 13km. It is expected be very cold on the day. Please wrap yourself up well.

Transportation expenses:
From Ikebukuro to MitsuMineguchi(Chichibu-shi) one-day open train tickets(excluding express) 2,320 yen
Limited express train tickets 640 yen(single), 1,280 yen(round-trip)
From Yu-Yu-Kan to MitsuMineguchi bus tickets 360yen

Total cost is 4,020yen or 4,660 yen (including hotspring cost)

Then if more than half of icicles will melt, we will change destination to Nagatoro, Chichibu-gun. And we will get on the pleasure-boats with Kotatsu(foot-warmers). Of course, we will also go to hotspring. Total cost is about 4,500 yen.

Things to bring:
suitable shoes for hiking, towel(If you wanna go to hot spring, you need two), drinks (sufficient water), rain gear (if you have it), and spare clothes
