Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov is one of the greatest novels ever written. People consistently put it at the top of the list of “Novels that changed my life.” That being said, it’s a Russian novel: it has a thick page count; all the characters have several nicknames to keep track off; philosophical digressions abound. It’s the perfect book for these cold, dark winter months. It’s also a novel best read with a group. All that made it the unanimous choice for our Winter Big Read.

If you’ve ever wanted to discuss this book, we’re the group for you! Here’s our discussion schedule:

  1. December 15: Part 1
  2. January 19: Part 2
  3. February 16: Part 3
  4. March 16: Part 4 & Epilogue

Each leg of the journey comes out to around 200-250 pages depending on your edition. But even if you don’t finish one month, still come to the discussion.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
