The Brothers Karamazov: Part I, Book I

We are hosting a close reading of The Brothers Karamazov. For this kick-off session, we will be coving Part I, Book I (approximately pages 7-33). To prepare, please identify one to two passages you would like to discuss or perhaps a question from the reading.

Note: All readings will be assigned using the Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky translation. However, all translations are welcome. I also have a spare copy of the novel, so if anyone is in need, they are welcome to it. Just send me a DM and I will find a way to get it to you.

Also, Meetup is charging a fee to host the group (approximately 70 euros a year), so if anyone would like to donate to the cause it would be greatly appreciated. However, it is not mandatory to give in order to attend events.
