Alternate week hike: Sweet Run State Park

This hike will be in a new location, Sweet Run is about 30 minutes west of Leesburg off Harpers Ferry road apporximately 4 miles west of Hillsboro. There is a $10 entrance fee if you do not have a STATE parks pass. The Park itself is only 2 years old with numerous trails and two small ponds. None of the trails are particularly steep or rocky. I anticipate a 5-7 mile hike. Some stream crossing have bridges and some require wading in water less than 8 inches deep. I recommend wearing shoes that you don't mind getting wet!
