Abstract
In today's development world, applications have a lot of moving parts. As a developer, it's important to make sure your stories are tested well before handing them off to the next step in your development process.

This talk will walk you through how to setup a development environment that empowers you to deliver high-quality software. We'll learn how to deploy software to Docker with Visual Studio, automated API testing with postman and some best practices for deployment pipelines.

Jim has helped companies build custom software solutions using a variety of solutions since 1998. Over the years, Jim has worked in the boating, fin-tech, automotive, accounting, tele-communications, health care, e-commerce and the service industries. Jim has lead app dev teams, developer training programs and technical user groups. Jim is very passionate about architecting solutions using the latest technologies and leading teams to strive for excellence.
