Going down the Clinch River

Details
Description:
There are usually many birds on the shores of the Clinch. I have seen ospreys bald eagles and blue cranes. The water of the Clinch is much colder than the air which often condenses a layer of brume. Occasionally, there are one or two fisher boats, but in general it is very calm.
The current is strong at the put in. There is a small eddie were we can wait until we are all ready. There are some very small rapids but the river is mostly flat flow.
Plan: The plan is go to gather at (36.124117,-84.113284) at 11am https://maps.app.goo.gl/CzoT93G9Rhk1soKZ7
We will leave some cars there. I will need at least one volunteer who can carry another kayak in the car for this plan to work.
We will next drive to put in at (36.210716,-84.073429) https://maps.app.goo.gl/i9BjX7NMHwxyCWG96.
We well kayak the Clinch down stream till the bridge where we left the car. Then we'll shuttle back drivers to their cars at the put in.
Sometimes the rain brings empty plastic bottles to the river. Please bring a trash bag to help me clean a bit.
After Kayaking: Please recommend a restaurant to gather after kayaking.
Preferred gear: Sit inside kayaks are preferred. Sunglasses and a hat are a must. Gloves will help too. Have your phone fully charged in a floating case. Have a GPS app loaded and learn how to use it.
A life jacket or PFD is mandatory.
Do not forget your kayak and paddle.
Bring a drink in a termo; water and lunch.
