Mt. Cammererererer via Low Gap and the AT

Cosby Road is finally open! So, let's hike to the round tower with the double m and the double -er. Mt. Cammerer~

There are several parking lots to meet in for this hike. I will meet the group in the upper section of the big parking lot near the picnic area. People are welcome to park in the other parking lots and walk to the big parking lot to meet the group.

This is a 10.4 mile hike with 2,700 feet of elevation gain. The elevation gain is based on the Little Brown Book. The trail starts at Low Gap (2.5 miles) and it goes straight up to the AT. Once on the AT, the trail continues along the ridge to the Mt. Cammerer junction (2.1). From there the trail goes straight to the fire tower (0.6).

The entire hike is reversed to hike back down to the cars. Total 10.4 miles.
