Deep Creek Tubing

Once you are all packed up you will want to Cool off on on the gently flowing Deep Creek. There may be a section where it may get low or depending on the weather, it may be raging. We will make the call the morning of if there is concern.

The length and time you spend on tubing here really depends on you. There is no shuttle, we walk the trail up to where we want to put in the ride it back. Rinse and repeat, ok maybe no rinse, just repeat, and repeat.... The typical hike up is around a 1/2 mile along a pretty flat wide trail. I find most people will do this once, then the best spot with rapids and do that area over and over till they are done.
You can bring your own tube, but it needs to be robust, or it will not last long. It is $11 a tube from the closest location Smoky Mountain campground. These are pretty thick comerical material and seem to hold up well.

You will need to sign their waiver and minors will need parental consent.

Be sure to have closed toe shoes to protect your feet, sunscreen, a change of clothes and a bag to put your wet ones in.
