*** 15.6 miles, not a beginner hike***
Make sure that you can do 2 miles/hour. This is a long hike and there are many intersections in this part of the park. I tend to keep the 2-2.5 miles/hour pace.
*** Good news!!! 441 is open between Gatlinburg and Cherokee***
Come with the map and an understanding of where you are. I plan on being out by 5 PM more or less. You can cut 2.2 miles from mileage if you don't do the loop trail. I am not a paid guide and know your ability to hike.

OVERVIEW
This is good hike for map markers! We will cover Deep creek to Martin gap and go down Sunkota and do the loop trail. Total mileage will be 15.6 with loop trail. Take out 2.2 miles if you don't do loop trail.
We will meet at the Noland divide trail head to get to Deep creek.

PARKING TAGS
Front country campers parked at their designated campsite will not be required to have a parking tag for the 2 vehicles permitted. If you are parked elsewhere in the park or campground, a parking tag is required. You can buy a day pass at the restrooms near the entrance to the campground, just before the Deep Creek Campground Kiosk.
