GSHAG's Fall Cookout at Elkmont -- Volunteers Needed!

OVERVIEW
We’re gonna need some help!

Our plate is pretty full at the moment. We’re coming up on a month out from the cookout, and we need some help.

When we posted the Fall Cookout/Campout event we asked, “Are you willing to help organize and/or cook for the Cookout?”

Fortunately, we had over a dozen folks say they would be willing to help with the meals.

If that was you, or you would like to take this opportunity to volunteer now, please take a look at the questions below and choose your specialty(s).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - RSVP Here
1. I am willing to shop for hamburgers, hot dogs, and canned drinks for the group.
2. I am willing to coordinate setting up the serving tables for food that folks bring.
3. I am willing to help cook hamburgers, vegi-burgers, and hot dogs for the group.
4. I am willing to help with cleaning up after the meal.
5. I am willing to dispose of all of the trash we generate after the event.
6. I am willing to bring a gas grill for the cookout.

7. I am willing to help coordinate all of the volunteers above, and oversee the grill team.

We will reimburse our shopping volunteers for any expenses for food, condiments, or utensils for the picnic. Dinner will be about 6:00-7:30.

Once we have a Cookout Leader volunteer we’ll leave it to them to pull everything together as they see fit. (Anoria's team did a great job at the Spring Cookout and will help the Fall leader get organized.)

PARKING TAGS
Front-country campers parked at their designated campsite will not be required to have a parking tag for the 2 vehicles permitted. If you are parked elsewhere in the park or campground, a parking tag is required. You can buy a day pass at the Metcalf Bottoms picnic area.
