ANDERSON SCHOOL (Tennessee Treehouse ) - After Work Hike
Details
This will be an in and out hike. I call this the Tennessee tree house hike. The trail starts behind Anderson (Headstart) School. The trail travels about 1.4 miles to Forks of the River Wildlife Area, then we turn around and head back to the car. This is a typical single-track dirt trail with rocks, roots, poison ivy, etc.. Elevation gain on this is minimal
Directions:From West or downtown. Take I-40 to the James White Parkway and cross the river. Take the Moody Ave exit (last exit) and turn left onto Sevierville Pike. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Centeroak Dr. Take the first left onto Prospect Rd and the school will be on the right.
