It's that time of the year...the annual Brattle Theater viewing of It's A Wonderful Life.
If you haven't seen this Frank Capra holiday classic or haven't seen it on the big screen, you're missing something special!
The film follows George, a small-town banker who, while considering suicide, meets Clarence, an angel in training. Clarence shows George what life would be like if he had never been born, and through this George is able to realize how valuable one person’s life can be. Forget about watching this classic film at home on TV, the Brattle is showing it the way it was meant to be seen: on the Big Screen on real-live 35mm film!
Starring Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, Henry Travers, Lionel Barrymore, and a wonderful supporting cast, including Thomas Mitchell, Beulah Bondi, Ward Bond, and Gloria Grahame.
