/Test Planning Ideas for Agile Teams/
Most test planning techniques originated when organizations still followed a waterfall development model and haven't really been modernized very much. I'm planning to present a really quick overview of the various categories of testing to get everyone on the same page and then give a brief introduction to the ACC Testplan developed at Google by James Whittaker as an example of an agile planning process. After that, I'll share some of my thoughts and experiences from trying it out
at Sophos. I'm also hoping some folks in the group will be willing to share whatever test planning processes have worked on their teams. In the end, every team is unique and has their own challenges. No single process will work for all teams, so let's share ideas on what's worked for us and expand our test planning toolbox.
/Testing Strategy in Devops/
The faster you deliver software, the greater the importance is to establish fast and reliable feedback loops that identify risk early. Automated V&V processes are critical to DevOps teams, but only part of a broader strategy to informing better decisions about delivery. In this presentation, Sr. Performance Engineer and DevOps advisor Paul Bruce of Neotys will discuss how to implement right-sized testing strategy in automated pipelines. We’ll also look at a few examples of how Selenium can drive more effective execution and collaboration over the health and readiness of your next build.
