Re: [libertarian-397] LP Presidential Ticket

Ron Paul, to the best of my knowledge, has conceded that winning the GOP nomination would be very difficult, but he and his supporters are still fighting and winning delegate seats. Romney does not have the nomination yet, despite the media blather. It isn't over until the fat lady sings.

I expect Tampa, Florida to be the site of a huge political brawl. Look at the tactics used by Romney supporters - they're getting desperate, breaking their own rules and engaging in outright fraud. Many of the GOP elite may be serving jail terms before November. Many incumbents will lose their seats to feisty challengers.

Ron Paul has already conceded that he can't win the Republican nomination, and he has ruled out a third-party run. So, in what way is Johnson competing with him? Seems to me that Johnson provides Paul supporters with an option in November.
