Greater Dallas Bicyclists July 4th Ride

Please join Greater Dallas Bicyclists (GDB) for a July 4th ride that starts at Bike Mart in Richardson and tours Richardson, Plano, and Allen. The ride will start at 8:00 AM sharp and is 42 miles in duration and is no drop. Please see the route below for details. There is one scheduled stop at 20 miles into the ride.

As it will likely be hot and humid on July 4th, please ensure you are acclimated to the heat and humidity. If you are not acclimated, please do not attempt this ride.

We will stop as a group for any mechanicals or other issues. The average pace at the end of the ride will be 14-16 MPH with speeds faster on flats and slower on hills. Please ensure your bike is in good working condition, bring liquids and electrolytes, and dress for the weather.

Afterwards, there is an optional lunch at a local restaurant where we can cool off and recover with food and drink.
