Step Forward and Explore with CrowdCamp November 2014

Mark your calendar, reschedule that less important meeting, and prepare for CrowdCamp November 2014, our premiere meetup. Sound exciting? It sure is.

This will be a forum for creators and leaders of projects and programs to connect with crowdfunders. The environment will be actively hosted, open to diverse projects, diverse levels of knowledge, and diverse people. It's a chance for you to put your toe in the pool, to plug-in, and to explore this space.

The meetup will be part structured/guided, part presentation of campaigns, and part social, with perhaps a coffee or drink after for those interested. More details will be posted as they are confirmed. If you have a campaign you are promoting or know of someone who is promoting a campaign, please send a message.

The meetup room will be:

• Wi-Fi enabled

• Have projector capabilities

• Paid for by crowdfunded donations (donation $5/person at door to pay for most of room rental from the University)

Here is a call out to our crowd for…

• Campaigns being organized/promoted

• Successful or unsuccessful campaigns that have been promoted.

• Those who have a lot familiarity with a crowdfunding/sourcing platforms

• Potential sponsors

• Local programs, projects, or enterprises that should be showcased

• Open source: what ideas do you have to make the upcoming CrowdCamp a rocking time?

Parking and Other Housekeeping:

1. Parking is free in downtown on Sunday's and the LRT stops at Bay Station which supplied pedway access directly to the lower level of Enterprise Square

2. Enterprise Square is in the heart of the city
