About us
The Greater Gainesville Young Professionals is a group created BY young professionals FOR young professionals.
We gather individuals between the ages of 21-40 to experience opportunities to CONNECT(meet other YPs), THRIVE(professional & personal development, STRIVE(philanthropy and civic engagement) and DISCOVER(see all that GNV has to offer).
We offer about 3-4 events per month and we invite anyone to come check out or events.
Once you've checked us out and you'd like to get involved, we can talk membership!
GGYP membership is free for students currently enrolled in UF and/or Santa Fe or currently employed by a chamber member business or organization. Not sure if your employer is a member? Check here.
If you don't fall into either of the above categories, you can join GGYP at the individual rate of $75/year OR $10/month.

March Madness Mixer

Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals for a monthly mixer!
This month, we will be gathering at The Backyard & Palomino Pool Hall in Downtown Gainesville. Palomino is equipped with two 9-foot pool tables and seven 8-foot pool tables. They host everyone from people who have never seen a pool table in their lives to serious professionals. If you’re not into billiards, they are also just a fun place to hang! They have a full bar, plenty of space to hang with buds, a photobooth, and a stage where they host DJ's and live music from time to time. They are also connected to The Backyard bar & venue and Boca Fiesta restaurant!
In the spirit of March Madness, we also will have a bracket. A pool bracket!
