What we’re about
The Greater Gainesville Young Professionals is a group created BY young professionals FOR young professionals.
We gather individuals between the ages of 21-40 to experience opportunities to CONNECT(meet other YPs), THRIVE(professional & personal development, STRIVE(philanthropy and civic engagement) and DISCOVER(see all that GNV has to offer).
We offer about 3-4 events per month and we invite anyone to come check out or events.
Once you've checked us out and you'd like to get involved, we can talk membership!
GGYP membership is free for students currently enrolled in UF and/or Santa Fe or currently employed by a chamber member business or organization. Not sure if your employer is a member? Check here.
If you don't fall into either of the above categories, you can join GGYP at the individual rate of $75/year OR $10/month.

Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals for one of their quarterly DISCOVER events, which give you the opportunity to learn more about GreaterGNV and everything it has to offer.This quarter, we are hosting our annual Discover the Springs!
We will meet at Rum 138 at 9:45am to get our kayaks and then take the shuttle to the kayak put-in on Highway 27. We'll take a guided paddle for about 90 mintues and then end our trip at Rum 138. Depending on weather, we will either paddle onward to Gilchrist Blue for swimming OR take a dip at Rum Island.
We'll then shuttle back to Rum 138 and make the trip to have lunch together at The Great Outdoors in downtown High Springs. - 5th Annual DrinkGNV Brewery Bus TourNeeds location
Join us for the 2025 DRINK GNV Brewery Tour! TICKET MUST BE PURCHASED HERE THROUGH OUR WEBSITE IN ORDER TO ATTEND.
This event sells out every year. We will have two coach busses (110 people) visit all of our Gainesville Grown Breweries including:

Cypress & Grove
First Magnitude
Swamp Head
Grand Scheme (our newest brewery)Everyone on the bus brewery tour will receive:
- A pint pour at each brewery*
