What we’re about
The Greater Gainesville Young Professionals is a group created BY young professionals FOR young professionals.
We gather individuals between the ages of 21-40 to experience opportunities to CONNECT(meet other YPs), THRIVE(professional & personal development, STRIVE(philanthropy and civic engagement) and DISCOVER(see all that GNV has to offer).
We offer about 3-4 events per month and we invite anyone to come check out or events.
Once you've checked us out and you'd like to get involved, we can talk membership!
GGYP membership is free for students currently enrolled in UF and/or Santa Fe or currently employed by a chamber member business or organization. Not sure if your employer is a member? Check here.
If you don't fall into either of the above categories, you can join GGYP at the individual rate of $75/year OR $10/month.

Join us for our quarterly Thrive event, Pancakes & Presidents! Except, this quarter we are switching it up to Pizza & Presidents.
This is your opportunity to hear from a local President/CEO as they share their story and open conversation to topics that will be beneficial in your growth as a professional in our community. This is a casual event that encourages group participation and conversation.

Join us for our Annual MEGA Mixer!The Leadership Gainesville Alumni Association in partnership with the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals have organized this event in Greater Gainesville in order to provide an evening of networking and collaboration. In our community, we are so lucky to have groups like these and more that support our businesses and organizations and encourage growth and innovation. We will be bringing together various organizations at this event in order to create a MEGA cocktail mixer.
This is not only a great opportunity to connect with others but it also a great opportunity to learn more about some of the various resources we have here in Greater Gainesville.
While the event itself is free to attend, we invite you to purchase a Drink 'Round the Pointe Passport in order to receive 4 different adult beverages from 4 of the Celebration Pointe businesses plus a raffle ticket. 100% of the proceeds from passport and raffle ticket purchases will go towards a local non-profit of your choice.So, join us for an event like no other!
