What we’re about
A group created for drum circle and drumming enthusiasts in the Greater Lansing, Michigan area to network, plan, and share drumming events, to have fun, and to connect with each other. We host a weekly drum circle that meets on Sundays from April or May through October at Lake Lansing Park North and in the cold weather at various locations in the Greater Lansing Area.
The Greater Lansing Area Drummers is an all-inclusive group open to everyone. We warmly welcome individuals of all backgrounds, beliefs, identities, and life paths to join us, and we strive to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. Families and children are always encouraged to take part.
Having a musical background is NOT a requirement! Even if you have never drummed or played an instrument before, we will walk you through the basics to get you started on your drumming journey. We also have a variety of instruments to share, so even if you don’t have a drum or percussion instrument, we have you covered!

Weekly Drum Circle at Bath Community Center
Bath Community Center, 5959 Park Lake Road, Bath, MI, USOur drum circle is moving indoors for the winter season! Please note that we are changing venues AND drumming on a different day and time.
Starting December 4th, 2025, we will be meeting every week on Thursdays from 4-6pm at the Bath Community Center. As always, this is a free, family friendly event and all ages and experience levels - including first-time drummers - are welcome to attend. Bring your hand drums, percussion instruments, and get ready to have some fun and make a little noise! Extra instruments will be available.
