Leesburg Halloween Ride

Dress up in your Halloween costume and join us for a Leesburg Halloween Ride, Thurs, Oct 31, 6:30 pm. We will ride through nearby neighborhoods to see the Halloween decorations, and costumes of the trick-or-treaters.

Dress your best because there will be a prize for the best costume!

The ride will depart at 6:30 pm. Please arrive early enough to get ready before the departure time so you don't miss out.

Please be sure that your costume will not become tangled in bicycle spokes, crank or pedals. And for safety, please use Halloween makeup instead of wearing a mask.

Parents with kid trailers are welcome to join in the fun. E-bikes are welcome too.

Average speed will be 8 mph with occasional stops to take in the sights. This is a No Drop Ride - no one will be left behind. Ride leader will stop periodically to regroup. The ride will take about 1 hour.

Front white headlights and rear lights or reflectors on all bicycles are required by VA state law, but feel free to add more lights as decoration.

Please be sure your bike is in good working order and that the tires have sufficient air pressure. If your bike needs new lights or mechanical attention, please stop in the shop well before the ride.

Helmets are required to participate, so by all means, decorate them too.

Stay after the ride for refreshments.
