Let's go and listen to some fine folk music, this time in the company of Radical Folk. Went down very well last year.
Meet at the information boards at 18-15
Train leaves Manchester at 18.33 Piccadilly.
On reaching Glossop it's then a short walk to Glossop Labour Club where the musicians continue to play until 9.00pm, the return train back to Piccadilly is due to leave at 9.22pm, arriving at 9.54pm. For anyone wishing to stay in Glossop later trains are available at half-hourly intervals until the last one leaves at 10.53pm.
There is a raffle £2-00 per ticket, money going to the musicians. Also you can order food on the train ( cash only), which is delivered to the Labour Club
Please meet on the concourse (near the entrance to platform 3) at Piccadilly Station from 6.15pm. Please note that both the train and the club can get quite busy and it may be possible that there is standing room only available.
