SEX AND GENDER IN THE EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH - DR GEORGE LOCKE
Details
Dr George Locke explores how early Christian communities grappled with sex, gender, and identity in a world shaped by Greco-Roman culture, emerging theological doctrines, and shifting social norms.
Dr Locke is a member of Peterborough Humanists, and previously ran Sheffield's Cafe Scientifique.
She is an active volunteer with Faith to Faithless, a Humanists UK programme that supports individuals leaving high-control religions.
She draws on her own lived experience of apostasy as a former Jehova's Witness.
Event is FREE, but cash donations towards room cost gratefully received on the night.
