JORDAN ALEXANDER is Chair for the National Working Group against Spiritual and Ritual Abuse.
Over the past 6 years the UK has recorded a 53% increase in the reporting of spiritual and ritual abuse (SARA) where both adults and children are at risk.
Manchester is one of the most recorded local authorities in the UK with the North West being the highest region for this form of abuse.
