Stockport: Meet An MP

We have a very special meeting this month as we will be meeting an MP. If you have any questions about how our democracy works, please come along. How do MPs split their time between constituency work and national business? How many people do they have working for them and who pays for them? How do they balance their conscience with party loyalty? You might want to dig into contentious current issues - Trump, Gaza or energy bills. Of course we might want to know about progress on Humanist issues - assisted dying, Humanist marriages or the place of Bishops in the Lords. Please come along and bring a friend!

We meet upstairs at The Armoury, 31 Shaw Heath, SK3 8BD. The Armoury Street Car Park (SK3 9DU) is nearby and is free at the time we meet. The resident-permit (red) bays are also generally available at the time we meet.
