While many of today’s business leaders recognize that analytics can bring value to their organizations, they often struggle to understand specifically how that value can be attained. As a result, analytics teams that might otherwise have high potential may become undersupported and underfunded, leaving their full impact to go unrealized. The “analytics translator” is becoming an increasingly important role within successful analytics and data science teams, as they help close the ever-widening gap between executives and analysts, thus helping increase the impact of analytics to the organization. This presentation will highlight the skills necessary to become an effective analytics translator, as well as how these skills can prepare you for future roles in analytics or in other areas.
