What we’re about
Meet with other sailing enthusiasts at our Meetup events, attend sailing education seminars, share stories, find skippers, find crew, and go sailing!! Last year many members became crew on competitive racing boats, others learned to sail, and some went for day sails cruising around Long Island Sound. We offer through City Island Yacht Club, a Club Boat Timeshare that offers unlimited sailing on three Catalina 25's and a Merit 25.
No sailing experience is necessary, we offer a range of seminars that appeal to all levels, from newbies to advanced sailors. Our Meetup events are held at City Island Yacht Club, about an hour's ride from Grand Central Station on the #6 Lexington Ave local plus a short bus (#29) ride, also convenient to the Hutchinson River Parkway and the I-95. There is even a direct Express Bus that runs up Madison Ave right to City Island! ".
