Get Ready to Race – The BIG TOM Wednesday Night Series Returns!

ATTENTION RACING SKIPPERS, SAILORS, WANNABE CREWS AND CRUISERS!

The BIG TOM Wednesday Night summer sailboat racing series on Eastchester Bay begins in just a couple of weeks. There are sixteen Wednesday evening races scheduled between May 21 and September 3.

To get the ball rolling, on Wednesday, May 14, at 7:30PM, Big Tom will host a Meet the Racers event at City Island Yacht Club. It’s a free event open to all. This is a great opportunity for non-racers who want to meet experienced racers, join sailing crews, or just mingle to ask questions and learn how much fun there is in racing. Come one, come all!
Skippers who have a boat to enter are encouraged to sign up now. Those skippers who sign up before the May 14th event on the Yachtscoring.com website, will receive a Big Tom hat! The first race is May 21 so time is short. The Wednesday night series is open to all boats 24 feet or longer. The fee is only $180 for the entire summer of 16 races. What a deal!
