Meet Near-Death Experiencer James Bowman

Dear Philly Friends of IANDS:
Please join us to hear James Bowman, from Kennett Square, PA, who has experienced a near-death experience (NDE) that has been transformative for him. He has agreed to share his experience and lessons learned with us and to answer any questions we may have.

This sharing will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

The following people could benefit from attending:

• Near-Death Experiencers and other Spiritually Transformative Experiencers who want to meet like-minded friends
• Health workers and other persons who may someday care for an
  experiencer who wants to talk about the most profound experience in his or her life in a world prone to dismissing such accounts as hallucinations and delusions
• Non-experiencers who want to learn about the phenomena of NDEs and what they reveal about the reality we live in and the process we commonly call "death."

The purpose of the Greater Philly IANDS NDE Discussion Group is to provide an opportunity folks in the Philadelphia, north Delaware, and southern New Jersey area to learn about Near-Death Experiences and Spiritually Transformative Experiences.

The purpose of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) is to promote responsible, multi-disciplinary exploration of near-death and similar experiences, their effects on people’s lives, and their implications for beliefs about life, death, and human purpose. Where scholarship does not indicate a reasonably clear position on the origin or interpretation of these experiences, we remain impartial and open to the presentation of varying points of view; however, while all personal beliefs will be respected, IANDS is under no obligation to consider them all equally supportable. Whatever the viewpoint, IANDS never supports proselytizing.
