Abstract

Despite the best security practices that you already implement on your servers and networks, someday, someone will inevitably compromise your data storage. When a breach happens, how can you ensure the integrity of sensitive customer information? Data encryption is a frequently overlooked or poorly implemented approach, but it can save your company from embarrassment in the wake of a breach. I’ll discuss approaches for securing your data as well as how Microsoft Azure’s Key Vault service can help to manage your encryption keys.
